Milwaukee Bucks 1968-69 Roster and Stats

The 1968-69 season marked the inaugural campaign for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. As an expansion team, the Bucks faced the challenge of building a competitive squad from scratch. Under head coach Larry Costello, they finished with a record of 27-55, which was a commendable effort for a new franchise. The team was led by standout rookie Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, then known as Lew Alcindor, who was the first overall pick in the 1969 NBA Draft, although he joined the team in the following season.

Despite their struggles, the Bucks managed to secure a few memorable victories and showed promise for the future. They played their home games at the Milwaukee Arena, drawing in a dedicated fan base eager to support their new team. The 1968-69 season laid the groundwork for future success, as the Bucks would go on to become a dominant force in the NBA in the early 1970s.
