Acquired via a blockbuster trade with the New Orleans Pelicans, Anthony Davis brought elite defense, versatile scoring, and a dominant interior presence to the Los Angeles Lakers in 2019. Teaming up with LeBron James, he played a crucial role in leading the Lakers to their 17th NBA Championship during the 2020 season which culminated in the Orlando bubble.
Known for his shot-blocking, rebounding, and smooth offensive skills, Davis is known as of the league’s premier big men — though one that has struggled throughout his career with injuries. Anthony Davis was traded to the Dallas Mavericks during the 2024-25 season as part of the Luka Doncic trade.
