The 2024 NBA Cup was the second annual in-season tournament during the NBA regular season. After the initial 2023 tournament in which the Lakers were crowned champs, the second annual tournament brought the official name of NBA Cup (rather than in-season tournament) as well as a sponsor from Emirates. Hence, we have the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup.
