Reggie Miller is the face of the Indiana Pacers franchise, spending his entire 18-year NBA career in Indianapolis (1987–2005). Known for his clutch shooting and fierce competitiveness, Miller became one of the most feared three-point shooters of his era, retiring as the NBA’s all-time leader in made threes at the time. His battles with the New York Knicks, particularly his legendary eight points in nine seconds in the 1995 playoffs, cemented his reputation as one of the game’s greatest late-game performers. Miller led the Pacers to consistent playoff appearances, including the 2000 NBA Finals, where they fell to the Lakers. Beyond statistics, Miller’s loyalty to the Pacers and his ability to embrace the spotlight gave Indiana a national basketball identity.
