Oklahoma City Thunder Seasons

The Oklahoma City Thunder franchise goes back to 1967. From 1967 through the 2007-08 season, the team was the Seattle SuperSonics. The team moved to Oklahoma City and renamed to the Thunder for the 2008-09 season. As of now, the SuperSonics historical record is a part of the Thunder franchise. It’s possible if Seattle gets a new expansion franchise, that the historical Seattle records are transferred to that future franchise (this has happened before with other teams). For now, the SuperSonics history remains with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
