Elgin Baylor holds the NBA record for most points through a single NBA Finals series. Baylor scored 284 points (averaging 40.6 points per game) across the seven game series in 1962.

Michael Jordan holds the record for most points per game across a single NBA Finals series with his 41.0 points per game during the 1993 NBA Finals. Since this series only went six games, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West have two NBA Finals series points totals higher than Jordan’s 246 points from that 1993 series. If Jordan got that seventh game, he undoubtedly would be sitting at the top of the total points list as well.
